Dr. K. Prasanna, is a full-time consultant radiologist for Pediatric imaging at Rainbow Children’s hospital, Guindy Chennai.
His main area of interest is pediatric radiology and has 8+ years experience. He joined our Rainbow team as a consultant radiologist at Rainbow Children’s hospital - Banjara Hills branch, Hyderabad in 2018.
He is well trained and adept in pediatric imaging which includes Ultrasonogram, Neurosonogram, Doppler studies, NICU & PICU bedside imaging, intraoperative ultrasound, Fluoroscopic imaging, CT imaging, non-vascular diagnostic and therapeutic intervention procedures.
He is available for emergency imaging around the clock.
He is a member of multiple international pediatric imaging societies – the European Society of Pediatric Radiology (ESPR), Asian and Oceanic Society for Paediatric Radiology (AOSPR), Society of Paediatric Radiology (SPR), and Indian Society of Paediatric Radiology (ISPR).
He has participated and presented in multiple national and international pediatric radiology conferences.
During his Post graduation, he had postings at Madras medical college and the Institute of Child Health (ICH), Egmore.
AWARDS & HONOURS
He is a travel grant awardee at the Asian and Oceanic Society for Paediatric Radiology (2019) held in Seoul, South Korea.
He secured the first rank in his M.D Radio Diagnosis in 2015.
