After doing her MBBS in Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore, she completed her DNB Pediatrics from the prestigious Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences,Hyderabad. She has completed her Senior Residency at Indira Gandhi Institute, Child Health Bangalore.

She was selected as a Fellow in Clinical Genetics in the prestigious Indira Gandhi Institute of Child health, Bangalore where she worked with children with Genetic conditions and was actively involved in treatment and counselling.

During her tenure there she received training at Centre of Human Genetics, Bangalore and Bangalore Fetal Medicine Centre which included training in molecular, cytogenetics and Fetal Medicine. Her passion in the field of Genetics made her further her career by pursuing and obtaining Fellowship in Medical Genetics by the Society of Indian Academy of Medical Genetics from the Prestigious and renowned institute,NIMS,Hyderabad.

She has around 10 years of Experience in the field of Pediatrics and Clinical Genetics. She has been actively involved in teaching MBBS graduates, Pediatric Post graduates and Genetic Counselling students. She has worked in several Hospitals in India in the field of Pediatrics and Clinical Genetics.

She is hardworking and passionate about her patients , working hand in hand with the parents and children with Genetic disorders , treating them , counselling and providing all the support that they need and to create awareness on rare diseases .
