Dr. Pragnya Chigurupati is one of the very few qualified female Breast Oncology and Oncoplastic Surgeons in Hyderabad and is currently associated with American Oncology Institute.

With expertise in the field of Breast Diseases and Reconstruction, Dr Pragnya, a breast cancer specialist in Hyderabad completed her MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the prestigious Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Deemed University, Chennai. During this tenure, she acquired international standards of surgical skills by becoming a member of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK. (MRCS).

Dr Pragnya retained a very strong interest in this evolving field and further pursued a Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) Breast Fellowship at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Recognized as one of the top Breast Specialist Doctors in Hyderabad, Dr Pragnya has extensive experience in “Oncoplastic” techniques as she also completed her Breast Oncoplastic Fellowship at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke on Trent, United Kingdom.

She gained extensive surgical experience in local flap reconstructions of the breast, implant-based reconstructions, breast augmentation and reduction (mammoplasty) procedures and other cosmetic procedures such as nipple reconstruction, fat grafting etc.

Dr Pragnya is currently pursuing McH in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, in association with University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom. She also has various publications and research papers to her credit.Unless a breast surgeon has undergone additional training in this area, it is unlikely that he/she will be in a position to offer you all the surgical options. She has vision, passion, knowledge of anatomy, and understanding of aesthetics.
